Monday, March 11

On Monday, March 11 in our concept development class we watched a documentary video of Lynda. That documentary video was about AIGA, American Institution of Graphic Arts organization.
By watching this video I got many interesting information about AIGA organization. I noticed that AIGA is a natural organization for designers, which has 64 chapters and over 20 thousand members. In this document Lynda interviewed some people who were working for that organization. One of the interviewed was with Rick Grefe; the executive director. He talks about different ways that designers use to inspire their audience. He mentioned that design is very important for everyone and he talked about various new designs for global problems that every single are facing with.
This subject got my attention because recently we work on a presentation video that could communicate perfectly with our audience. The subject of our video is one of the global problems. We always deal with global problems, such as clean air and water, trashes, energy, economy, finances and so on. The way that we communicate with our audiences is very important. We should know what kind of type and color we use to get our audiences' attention. The picture and song that we use are the other important fact that could effect on our audience. All principal of design have to work together to change the audience feeling and give them new information to do something to save our planet earth.
